Nelson and Emma
16 x 12” (price includes frame)
I painted this as a faux 18th century painting, ready for hanging in some smoky tavern. But actually it’s set in the present day. I’m still tempted to add a couple of land rovers in the background, or maybe a discovery , for the Cotswold set?
NB The clues are all there: the Pekingese only appeared in Britain after 1860, the church roof supports solar panels and the ball is clearly plastic. The rabbit hasn’t changed much though.
